    The WVSU volleyball squad played its first match in the Walker Convocation Center Friday night and came away with a 3-0 win over Glenville State.
    A boisterous crowd watching the first volleyball action in the new gym was treated to a strong showing by the Yellow Jackets as they swept the three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-12, and 25-12.
    Junior Erica Bickham recorded 12 kills, senior Anneelise Albrecht had 19 assists and freshman Allison Tumey 12, while sophomore Cassie Ford made 12 digs and Tori Strong 10.
    Next up the Yellow Jackets host West Virginia Wesleyan at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 27.
