    The WVSU men's basketball team used a balanced attack to defeat visiting Davis & Elkins 83-78 in a non-conference match-up Monday night.

    Terry Wood finished with 14 points and Bo King 13 while  Angelo Sirianni contributed 12. Steve Wing ended up with nine points and pulled down a game high 14 rebounds.

     After trailing for a good portion of the first half the Yellow Jackets gradually pulled in front on a pair of King free throws to take a 49-47 lead into halftime.

    Wood and Wing then hit from the paint to push the margin to 53-47 to open the second half and the Senators could never catch up.
