     The WVSU basketball squads dropped a pair of games at home Saturday afternoon to visiting Fairmont State.
     The Yellow Jacket women saw a 31-28 halftime lead evaporate on the way to losing 70-55 as the Falcons got hot in the second half hitting 52 percent of their shots and the Jackets saw their accruacy fall to 30 percent after hitting better than 44 percent in the first half.
     Ashley Current led the WVSU effort with 15 points and nine rebounds.
     In the nightcap the Yellow Jacket men dropped a hard fought 92-82 decision. 
     FAirmont State gradually pulled away after taking a 50-49 lead with 18:49 to play.
     Dimitrios Jelen-Joy paced the scoring with 20 points while Devin Delaney added 17, Dominic Phillips 15 and Steve Wing 13.
     Phillips added nine assists and seven rebounds, Delaney three and six, and WIng pulled down eight boards.
