Box Score       The Yellow Jackets fell behind early and a late rally fell just short in a 74-66 loss to Shaw University in the final game of the Earl Lloyd Classic Sunday in the Walker Convocation Center in Institute.
      The Bears scored the first four points of the game and led by as many as 15 before a second half surge from the Yellow Jackets tightened things up.
      A pair of 3-pointers from Tyree Elliott left WVSU trailing by just two points with 9:52 to play. The visitors responded with a 12-0 run to expand the margin to 68-54 with 3:16 to play as the Jackets could hit just 28 percent of their shots from the floor on the day.
       Dominic Phillips turned in a strong performance finishing with 16 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.
       Devin Delaney added 12 points and Steve Wing turned in an 11 point, 13 rebound outing.
       The Yellow Jackets travel to Wheeling Jesuit Saturday and then return home to face West Liberty on Monday, November 24.
