The host Griffins used a 16-2 run midway through the first quarter to take a 28-16 lead and never looked back in defeating the visiting Yellow Jackets 73-50 Saturday.

Jasmine Blanton had 15 points and five assists while Asia-Bryanne Greenleaf added 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead the WVSU effort.
