The WVSU volleyball team celebrated Senior Night by finishing off it regular season with a 3-1 win over visiting Davis & Elkins Friday night.

         After State took the opening two sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-20 the Senators rallied to capture set three 25-19. The Yellow Jackets came out determined in set four and grabbed an early 12-4 lead on the way to a 25-14 win to close out the match.

         The Yellow Jackets' lone senior, Leisha Salyer, had a big night as she led the defensive effort with 19 digs.

         With the victory the Yellow Jackets end up with a 7-7 conference mark good for 9th place and an 11-12 overall record.

         Cameron Lewis paced the attack with 14 kills.
