West Virginia State University Athletics

Gianna Sloan-Lebron is a senior Communications major at West Virginia State University, where she currently serves as a Sports Information Intern for WVSU Athletics. She is also a member of the Yellow Jacket softball team.

Sloan-Lebron is the founder of AthletesOnSight, an independent photography brand specializing in dynamic, high-energy sports visuals. Since picking up her first camera as a freshman, she has built a diverse portfolio through work with Bluefield University, Concord University, and the Salem Red Sox. Her freelance photography credits also include Virginia Tech, Liberty University, Marshall University, and the University of Tennessee. In 2023, she had the opportunity to photograph a Banana Ball game during the Savannah Bananas' tour stop in Salem.

Originally from Roanoke, Virginia, Sloan-Lebron began managing athletic social media in high school and has since developed a passion for creative direction, NIL storytelling, and capturing athletes in ways that bring game day to life.
