State established rhythm in the first set with 17 kills on .250 and closed on a statement run. After the Panthers surged to a 14–9 edge, the Jackets fought back to level at 18–18, then ripped off a 7–0 finishing burst on Perez's serve to win it 25–18. The closing stretch featured two Custodio kills, three KWC attack errors and the set-clinching block touch by Custodio, underscoring State's control at the net (3 block points in the frame).
The second set was State's sharpest, a model of efficiency at .577 (17–2–26). A mid-set 6–1 push opened the gap, highlighted by an Eva Sullivan service ace, a Custodio termination in the middle and a combo block with Oksanen. The Jackets then slammed the door with a 4–0 finish from 21–14, capped by an Iquinto ace between kills from Oksanen and Baylee Smith, to take it 25–14.
The third set began with a 0–4 hole, but State erased it quickly and took command late behind the service line. From there, Hill added a kill, the block collected two more points, and Perez tagged an ace to bring up set point before a KWC attack error ended it, 25–15.
