MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The list of accolades for West Virginia State baseball's Mike Huber, Chris Morris and Kyle Waters grew when the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced its All-Atlantic Region teams on Thursday. Both Morris and Waters earned spots on the first team while Huber landed on the second team.

This was the second First Team All-Region award this season for starting pitcher Chris Morris. The NCBWA also awarded him First Team All-Region honors. He earned the MEC Pitcher of the Year award as well as a First Team All-MEC nod at the conclusion of the 2024 regular season. As an outfielder, he was a Second Team All-Region selection by the NCBWA and a Second Team All-MEC honoree.

Waters was dubbed the best shortstop in the Atlantic Region by the D2CCA after a vote by the region's Sports Information Directors. He previously earned Second Team All-Region honors from the NCBWA. He was an All-MEC First Team selection leading up to his multiple postseason awards.

Huber was named Second Team All-Region by the D2CCA behind the Atlantic Region Player of the Year, fellow first baseman Ethan Kiple from Frostburg State. Huber was a First Team All-Region selection by the NCBWA. He was also recently named a Third Team All-American by the same organization. He made the jump from an All-MEC Honorable Mention last year to an All-MEC First Team selection this year.
