BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Graduate forward Fran Soares-Cuperino of the West Virginia State University women's soccer team was named the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Offensive Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, after registering four goals and one assist in two games played. This was the fifth time in her WVSU career, and third time this season, that she earned Offensive Player of the Week honors from the MEC.

Soares-Cupertino's contributions last week helped the Yellow Jackets defeat Glenville, 6-0, and Wheeling, 4-1.
