BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- West Virginia State's
Jenna Dufresne has been tabbed the MEC Offensive Player of the Week after playing in six matches, including 20 sets, and posting the highest overall kills total in four of them.
Dufresne, a senior from Bedford, Ind., helped WVSU to a 4-2 week. She had 78 kills and hit .325 on the week averaging nearly four per set, and had double-digit kills in five of six matches. She also contributed 56 digs for the week and had three double-doubles (kills/digs). Her 78 kills this week pushed her over 1,000 for her career.
