Matt Harrison earned an All-America Honorable Mention from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) when the organization released a list of recipients of its highest possible honor on Wednesday evening. Harrison was previously named First Team All-Atlantic Region by both the NCBWA and D2CCA.
He led the Mountain East Conference in runs scored (50) and home runs (13) in 2021. Additionally, he was among the top five in slugging percentage (.729), runs batted in (43), and total bases (97).
Harrison led the Yellow Jackets in OPS (1.211), runs scored, home runs, runs batted in, total bases, slugging percentage, on base percentage (.482), and putouts (315). He made two appearances on the mound and gave up only one hit in two innings pitched while allowing no runs.
