BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – West Virginia State's Ethan Lauchart was named the Mountain East Conference's Pitcher of the Week when the league announced its weekly awards on Monday afternoon. He shared the honor with Concord's Andrew Neff. 

Lauchart, a senior from Sissonville, W.Va., took a perfect game into the sixth and settled for the complete game victory against West Virginia Wesleyan. He went all seven innings giving up two runs on three hits with seven strikeouts.
