Three Yellow Jackets earn All-American honors from BCSN
ATLANTA, Ga. – Three West Virginia State University men's basketball players were named NCAA Division II All-Americans by the Black College Sports Network (BCSN) when the shortlist was released on Thursday night. Senior Glen Abram and sophomore Anthony Pittman were both named First Team All-Americans while senior Jeremiah Moore earned Second Team All-American status.

The 2021 BCSN All-American Teams consist of men and women's college basketball players from 28 HBCU programs that play in 11 athletic conferences across the NAIA, NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II levels. All-American first and second teams were created to recognize the top 10 players competing on teams that met the NCAA minimum number of games for participation in the 2021 NCAA and NAIA national postseason tournaments.

Among the three levels and first teams, a national player of the year and coach of the year were selected for each level by votes from media members of the HBCU-Pro Sports Media Association (HBCU-PSA). HBCU sports fans were also given a single representative vote in the process. Their selections could be made by Twitter through an online survey over the course of four days.

Glen Abram made the NCAA Division II Men's First Team after a 2021 season in which he averaged 22.9 points per game and made 56 three-point field goals to lead the Yellow Jackets in both statistical categories. Anthony Pittman also made the First Team after averaging 17.4 points per game and a conference-leading 12.1 rebounds per game last season. Jeremiah Moore was named a Second Team All-American for his 18.8 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per game.
