Taylor, who died in 1998, was an all-conference track and field selection from 1970-73, leading the Yellow Jackets to four WVC track titles. He was also an NAIA national championship qualifier twice. He was the anchor on the 4x110-yard relay and the 4x440-yard relay, setting school and conference records in both.
