Mills was a tennis coach from 1958 to 1968, having won 75 percent of 90 dual matches while at State. The 1957 graduate is an expert in the field of occupational safety and health. At the request of former Presidents Johnson and Nixon, he served on committees which led to the National Highway Safety Act of 1967.He is a retired professor from Murray State University and lives in Hebron, Ky. He and wife, Eunice, established a scholarship at State recently.
