Dr. Gregory D. Epps, Sr. has served as the Executive Assistant to the President at West Virginia State University (WVSU).  Previous positions at State include Special Assistant to the President; Assistant Vice President for Administrative Services; and Director of the Enhanced Skills Training Program. 

 

Dr Epps received a B.S. degree in Education from WVSU; a Masters Degree from Marshall University; and a Doctorate from West Virginia University.  He also is a recent graduate of the Business Management Institute at Cornell University, the College Management Institute at the University of Kentucky, and the Executive Leadership Program at Hampton University.

 

While a student at WVSU, Greg was an active member of the track team.  He was the assistant track coach for 2 years winning the conference championship in 1982; 1 year letterman and co-captain of Cross Country; track team captain for 2 years and co-captain for one; lettered for 4 years; All-Conference for 4 years and All-Conference awards for five; Conference Team Champion for 1 year; Conference Team Runner-up for 2 years; and placed 4th and 2nd in the 400 meter conference championships.

 

Greg is a member of the All Nations Revival Center where he serves on the Deacon Board, chairs the Trustee Board, and is a Minister-Elect.

 

Dr. Epps is a resident of Cross Lanes, WV.  He is the son of Don and Lola Epps and he and his wife, Kisstaman, are the proud parents of four children:  Tionna, Talana, Tazanna, and Gregory, Jr.
