The late Frank Harris, as a member of the football team, lettered four years at the quarterback position. In 1948 and 1949, he led the Yellow Jackets to victories over Virginia State and Tennessee State in the Capitol Classic in Washington, D.C. After graduating, he became athletic director at Hughes High School in Cincinnati, where he won four conference championships.
