STEPS TO GETTING ELIGIBLE AND PLAYING

1. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NCAA ELIGIBLE. The NCAA Clearinghouse (www.ncaaeligibilitycenter.net) determines freshman eligibility and amateurism. All students must complete the amateurism before playing.

Transfers eligibility is based on all college records and the appropriate NCAA regulations.

2. GET ADMITTED TO WVSU Four Year school AS SOON AS POSSIBLE – faxed records can get you admitted to WVSU. If you are admitted on probation, you are not eligible during your first year of attendance at WVSU. You cannot compete if you are admitted to the WVSCTC

3. ONCE YOU ARE ADMITTED, CONTACT NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION 1-800-987-2112 or 304-766-3078 AND SCHEDULE CLASSES. 

4. PAY YOUR BILL – Once you have a schedule, you now have a bill to the University.

5. GET OFFICIAL RECORDS HERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE – with out official transcripts, test scores, or immunization, you will not be eligible for your first game of your college career at WVSU.

If you have less than 30 semester hours of UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE credit earned, you will need a copy of your high school transcript and ACT/SAT test score. You will need an original transcript (no faxes) from all institutions attended to be eligible to play.
