Young boys and girls attending the West Virginia State University Tennis Camp received a visit from Secretary of State Natalie Tennant Tuesday morning.
Tennant addressed the crowd of nearly 60 youngsters and volunteer camp workers during a break in the action.
She talked about her experiences growing up and encouraged the boys and girls to ignore those who tell them they cannot accomplish what they want in life and to work hard to reach their dreams.
More than 60 youngsters registered for this year's camp which was offered free of charge.
